Lord-General Earl of Essex Army 1st Battle of Newbury

Post by Pauly J - Grimnor » Thu Apr 19, 2012 6:25 am

The Parliamentarian Army

Essex had 4 brigades of Foote and two independent regiments and a right and left wing of Cavalry and two company's of Dragoons. Each brigade of Foote has three regiments, and the cavalry had 6 /7 in each wing.

So I'm doing one regiment from three of the brigade's of Foote and one independent and one of each wing of cavalry and a troop of cuirassiers. All out of the door now I'm doing 6 Regiments. Three from different brigades and the other three from the London Trayned Bands.

Below is what they will be and look like. I'll put pictures here once they are finished.

Foote
Sergeant-Major-General Philip Skippon's Brigade
Sir William Constable's regiment, from Lord Robarte's Brigade.

Very nice start! Curse you rebellious scum. Mustering armies faster than the poor king can. :D

Sam said to me "Wow, your not being a button counter with this guy then" Just because he is not going in to a Royalist army.

Looks awesome! :D Where are you placing him? In a unit or on a command stand?
