I was at Basing House for a meeting yesterday, and I spotted this:
The First Battle of Newbury 1643
I didn't have enough on me to pick it up, but it looks useful. Has coat colours, for example.

Huzzah. Got a rulebook on ebay for £7.50 including postage. Thanks for pointing me to it Paul.

It will have to live at work for now though.

So, after talking to Paul on Saturday this is what I need to complete a 2000 point army:

10 dragoons, 32 pike, 36 shotte, 12 gallopers/trotters

Cool I think I need 80 Pike and Shotte, 12 Horse, 16 Firelocks, 10 Dragoons and Artillery crew.

Can't see us splitting a Battalion box though. We both need most of the miniatures.
