I have a whole bunch of steel pikes if you need, pretty sure there's around if not more than 40.

Another (so the interwebs say) good free rule system is called "Victory without Quarter" by Clarence Harrison at Quinidia Studios. He has said on "The league of Augsburg" that he is meaning/wanting to update the rules sometime this year. It has some nice looking miniatures too on the PDF.

Rules can be downloaded HERE

And do go to his website Quinidia Studios for some really nice looking miniatures. Just as nice as Saxon Dogs stuff.

Free if you want them, they're only the plain 100mm steel pins. Got a bunch years back when I still played Empire, pretty sure they were in a larger pack for as much/less than what they charge now for 40 of them. they're a wee bit longer than the warlord plastic pikes, I guess that just means the guys using them got yelled at enough to not get away with lopping a few feet off the end for comfort. :P

Three more website pages for tonight on uniform and Unit Banner/Colours. I like my army to theme with units in history, some may call it counting of some sorts, but I just don't give a Poo.

First one has coat colours and Flag colours and a couple suppliers who do those colours.

Second one has coat colours with facing's, breeches and some Banner colours.

and last but not least a comparison guide to some 28mm miniatures. No Warlord metals but they are said to be the same hight as TAG and Bicorne miniatures

I found both helpful, maybe you too.
