i shall be down, whq upstairs. I shall bring books aplenty for perusal too :D.

Mocked up stats for Space Marines too (will cause controversy i'll wager)

...

Space Marine
Million dollar Marvel

Move 6
Defence 5
Hits 3
Strength 4
Agility 3
Intelligence 3
Morale 4

Luck (2), Body Armour, Fists of Fury, Snap Shot, Boffin, Dodge, Heroic Surge

Brawl 3+
Pistol 4+
Disintegrator Gun 3+

81 Ratings (-1 to cost of both weapons due to star quality)

Should one Smurf change snap shot to vehicle then they can take a Rhino (uses X-Track Stats) at 50 points, again -10 ratings due to star quality

So 250 ratings would get 3 space marines with 7 pp(production points) spare (unless they go for a Rhino)

Well so far this Is what I am working with:

Star (working name 'METALLIKA')
Otherworldy Invader
69 ratings

Move 6 Def 5 Hits 3 Str 3 Agi 3 Int 4 Mo 5

Alien, Luck (2), Leader (2), Mechanoid, Invulnerable (1), Energy Blast, Unearthly Constitution
Brawl 4+
4+ Stun Stick

Co-Star BIG ROBOT (working name 'MONSTRO')
Failed Experiment
50 ratings

Move 7 Def 5 Hits 2 Str 6 Agi2 Int 2 Mo 2

Fearsome, Luck (1), Large (*EDIT: he may not actually be that large as a model to count, so this may be replaced with one of the other options) , Mechanoid, Blocker, Teleportation, Cameo (though possibly could take a level of invulnerable instead of teleport, but I envision him turning up as the 'oh cruds we need to bring out the big&expensive guy to add more tension, and get him into the action quickly! Also if not Large this could be replaced with Flyer, so he comes crashing in using hits rocket boots).
Basic: Brawl 3+
4+ Hand weapon (big metal claws)

Am undecided on whether I should have pseudo-human (think those guys in Flash Gordon who all broke when the 'goggles' were removed) technicians and scientists to get the required boffin and repair force needed to maintain the robot force or to have a mad scientist co-star. Also I am not sure the Metalnaut extra fits what I am going for in terms of robots as they don't get rayguns aka alien rifles/pistols, and they are more close combat focused, so I should probably work out how to stat up something more fitting.

I Was asked last week Which book the time lift security rules are in. It's actually the brand-new one that's just come out, the heroes programme guide. It also includes rules for dinosaurs! (Looks at poi). Breif skim so far so don't ask details please. Also new archetypes and extras abound. I'll bring it along tomorrow for perusal

Looks like there's actually quite a few updates in the dead tree format version of the rules I have (2012 printing) over the .pdf (2011) so going to have to prod stuff, especially as a couple may not be in the FAQ. One really useful thing is technicians get repair instead of boffin, plus a trait that lets them work on the high maintenance stuff without using 'Also Starring' to get a point of boffin. And they can have a pistol which fits the models I got perfectly :)

Still waiting on confirmation though for signing up to the official forum so I can work on sorting out the mechanoid menace though.

Any sites to recommend for figures? any style just fancy a look around.

I have an idea for a cast and perfect mini's but they are a tad expensive for a full lot. How many stars/co-stars and extra's are there on average for a 300 rating cast?

When are you looking at kicking it off? so i can get some mini's ordered?
