4th October scenario

Postby poi » Wed Sep 07, 2011 2:09 pm

The last couple of sessions have had a poor turnout so, unless folks beg me to continue, I think this campaign has run its course.

I hope it was fun. I know I enjoyed it. Even Les's serially trouncing me with those vile chariots.

On to planning/painting my gang for Les's campaign in the spring.

Vile?!?!? VILE??!?!?! VILE??!?!?!?!? If I could afford more I'd buy loads of wolf chariots 50 points a pop and you can put them in units of 3. A 150 point unit with a 9"+3d6" charge range and 3d6+3 s5 impact hits? They're lovely @ (and they only trounced you twice (and yesterday it went to the wire)
I've enjoyed the campaign but I'm afraid it may have had it's thunder stolen by LateDave's necromunda campaign.
I'd be happy to continue playing though

Remind me to shout splitter! next time I see Dave at the club.

Can we really judge turnout over the august holiday month? I would have attended last night, but for circumstances beyond my control.

I thought it was a good way to get a few relaxed games in….and the fact my wood elves stand a chance in a skirmish game helped, but if people are losing interest then I guess.

Is it worth giving it one more shot. If attendance is poor then we call it quits?

Aye, that's the plan, if enough players show up.

TBH I think I made some big mistakes on this campaign, so I'm also calling it as a failed format.

We'll wait and see who else responds.

It was just poor timing for me. Girlfriend returns to uni soon so we have been spending most of my free time together.

It's fine, honestly. If folks want to carry on, I'll turn up. If they don't, I'll still turn up, I'll just play something else. Just so long as I know in advance so I can bring the right toys.

Think I'm just a large scale warfare person unfortunately. Least I can preserve my 100% loss record!
