I'll be adding to this right up until launch time, so don't finalise your warband until I say so.

Warband
200 points maximum

Models are bought individually, so you can can take a bunch of unit champions, musicians or standard bearers, if you want to spend your points that way.

Core 50%+
Special up to 50%
No Lords, Heroes or Rares

All models must be painted to at least a basic standard, ie, 3 colours and based.

Table set-up and deployment
No more than a four foot square table.
Place as much terrain as you can.
Split the table into four quarters and roll-off to see which player picks the quarter they will deploy in. The opposing player deploys in the opposite corner. First player deploys all of his army in his deployment area, at least 9" from the centre of the table. Opponent then does likewise. No models start off the table.

First turn
Roll a D6. On a 2 or more, the player who deployed first goes first. On a 1, the enemy seizes the intiative and goes first.

Game length & victory conditions
Once one warband has been reduced to half its starting models, it must take a Leadership test at the start of each of its turns. Fail and you're out of the game.
Use the highest leadership in your warband.
Apply a -1 penalty to the second test you have to make, -2 to the third, etc.

Every elf for himself - All models operate as individual units. If in base to base contact with friendly models, they form a unit. Single models do not gain the Skirmish rule, but can make a single free reform each turn.

Could you finalise a month before starting so we can paint toys? :D

Also as a model only has a 90 degree facing will you change this due to the skirmish nature of these rules?

I'm sure i'll think of other questions to throw at you as well!

No.
Allows for sneaking up, which expanded line of sight rules would prevent.

Right folks, no further questions, so the rules are now frozen. Happy to keep answering new questions, but I think there's enough to get you all started.

Get building/painting your warbands.

Several people asked about marks for chaos.

You only need to buy them once for your entire warband.

That's a bargain! Whgat if you want to have units with different marks? Do they get both? ;)

NO! You'll have to decide which troops have which mark in your list.

Lol! More serious questions now:

Chosen roll on the eye of the gods table. If i wan't each model to roll seperately do i have to say they are all from a different squad originally? If so then I can choose as many squads as i wish as normal restrictions don't apply?

Also the points of marks.. from the special or core allowance?
