Month Two results

Post by phil » Mon Feb 28, 2011 11:31 am

Hi folks

Following last week's deadline only a few games had been played, so I'm extending it to this week. Please make sure that you've got your Feb game done and dusted, and let me know the results of any games I've not included in the list below (which I'll update as I incorporate new results).

Name / Played / KP scored / Diff / Pts

Fergus 2 9 +8 6
Simon 2 7 +4 6
Dave 2 6 +4 6
Les 2 8 +7 4
Martin 2 5 +3 4
Paul 2 5 +3 3
Adam 1 4 +1 3
Phil 2 3 -2 3
Carl 1 3 -1 0
Poi 2 2 -4 0
Duncan 2 4 -6 0
Richard 2 1 -10 0

Results:

Duncan vs Simon: Simon won (5-2)
Fergus vs Paul: Fergus won (5-0)
Martin vs Poi: Martin won (4-1)
Martin vs Phil: Martin won (4-1)
Les vs Richard: Les won (7-0)

And Dave (catching up, with permission) played two games by last week as follows:
Dave vs Martin: Dave won (2-1) at 500pts
Dave vs Simon: Dave won (4-1) at 750pts
(note that these games were official results for Dave, but unofficial for Martin and Simon, as they already played/planned their official games for another time).

Path of Hobby completed:

Duncan
Les
Simon
Fergus
Martin

In the daleks versus Guard showdown, the Doctor and his nemisi won. Sorry Rich as my army was rather rude.

/stern face :naughty:

From the results received so far it looks like Adam, Carl and Dan have not yet played Feb's Path of Battle game. To my knowledge, I've not had any messages in advance letting me know reasons for that, so can you post here asap letting me know if you're continuing or not please (or results in case I've missed them)?

Also, can I ask for the sake of my sanity and administration - this month please play your 1000pt standard FOC game either on or before the March 29 deadline please?

Obviously I understand if some people are unable to make it on the night - and in exceptional circumstances we can be a bit flexible - but trying to keep track of everything in fragmented form as with February has been a problem that I don't want to have to repeat.

Therefore, anybody not notifying on this forum in advance why they're unable to play on or before March 29 may be taken out of the competition.

Thanks!

/stern face off

Dutch,

Probably best to remove me from the event. I really want to get back into Fantasy, 5th ed is really getting me down (losing isnt the problem its the lack of interest in the system) and I only really want to play big games (1750 or more than 2 people).

Going to put my Marines to pasture (until next edition) in a couple of weeks and not bring my Daemons out again (unless someone specifically wants to challenge me) until they are in a much better condition.

Sorry mate
