The King is dead - Long live the King!!

After much debate I decided that seeing as my Bretonnian's were already painted and everyone else was going to all the effort of starting a new army I would stop cheating and do this properly.

So after an evening of watching the Mummy, the Mummy Returns and the Scorpion king (anyone notice a pattern) I have decided to go for a Tomb Kings army as the imagery is great and with enough priests, even at 2000 points they should rule most magic phases with their incantations.

So my army list to start off with is

Tomb Prince
Liche Priest (why do I always choose armies that have to have 2 characters?)
20 Skeletons with Spears and Shields
12 Skeletons with Bows
3 Chariots
8 Light Horsemen.

This should be about 750 points and I will obviously expand the units of skeletons as far as possible (an unbreakable horde of skeletons in 4 ranks sounds good to me) and add another priest once i get the next 250 points in.

Any suggestions for after that will be greatly received as I really have no idea what im doing

Simon I would check up on the FAQ for Tomb Kings, most of the restrictions from other armies have been FAQ'd and removed.

For example I no longer have to take a Vampire in my Vampire Counts army, I believe that you dont have to have a BSB in a Bretonian army and Ogres no longer have to have such a restricted army list anymore.

Take a read and make sure that you have to still be taking all these choices. I am afraid that I dont know enough about Tomb Kings to give you advice.

If you dodge the whinging (it is Warseer, so be prepared for loads!) there is the odd tactical nugget to be gleamed from there

Will this one not do?

Apparently they are quite easy to put together. Add in the fact that it is a plastic model I wouldnt imagine that its particularly difficult to assemble (and its cheap).

Not as cool as this one

However sometimes needs just require one to compromise :)

I am still miffed that I dont get any undead ranged units with my VC :( Sad panda!
