To mark the launch of WFB8, a few of us are starting new armies, starting at 750 points and then growing in 250 point blocks.

Every model in my 750 point list has at least some paint on it.
First unit finished. Rat ogres.
Chances of being finished by Tuesday?

Are you still painting them though? You'll be up to speed for the next milestone date won't you? Not that I can remember when the next milestone date is :shifty:

14th September, its on the first post in the tale thread :)

I wasnt particularly surprised to hear that Poi isnt goign to meet the first deadline. No offense to Poi but he isnt known for his speedy painting and he did pick the biggest hoard army! Methinks it was a crazy idea but who knows, by the 14th December the whole army could be fully painted.

Still if you dont meet the 3 colour requirement and basing then you wont be getting any goodies from the club :) Come on Poi, we believe in you.

I'll be there by the finals, as the number of models I need to do each month will drop dramatically. For example, my 250 expansion due in a month's time is a Doomwheel and a Warlock Engineer. Even I can manage that in a month.

Words captured and stored for later. They sit equally between the "I told you so" hammer and a plate surrounded by garnishes, should you need to eat them :)

Don't worry, I'll be there for the September date, all painted.
Anthea is tasking care of housework tonight so I can focus on paint, so we'll see how I do.

Remember, if you meet every deadline... FREE TOYS!!!

that's an incentive, just pop down tescos, stock up on red bull, pro plus and matchsticks for the eyelids. Don't bother with sleep tonight (or pull a sicky tomorrow (I'm not condoning this though!)) you'll have them all done. Or speak to the Paul's painting service (tm)

They aren't finished, but they did get more paint last night.

I guess I have too much life to do so much painting.
