Re: Waaagh Badgutz (Les' Gobbos)
psh, every time i challenged the coward you call a vampire, it hides behind some dead things.. too scared to face a goblin! What kind of leadership is that anyways? You may as well play skaven!

But she was a lady
Who knows next month I might be running a Vampire free list and I will be challenging you with my non vampire general. If she wasnt so pivital to my damn army then I would risk her a little more

Then she died and became a monster! Anyways gobbos don't care if you're a bloke/bint/gribbly thing, they'll still issue the smack down!
If you run a non vamp army does the army still crumble when the general dies?

Re: Waaagh Badgutz (Les' Gobbos)
Yep they start top crumble when the general dies just the same as if it were a vamp. The only thing is that it doesnt need to be a vamp anymore, which brings it into line with how generals are picked now in 8th.
The massive advantage from my perspective is that hero level vamps arent particularly tough and are quite expensive, whereas the Wight King is both cheaper and tougher from a combat survival perspective. The fact that it has a higher Ld means that unless it receives the BSB it will generally be the general unless I take a Vamp lord.
With a killing blow, T5 and W3 I will take that model into a challenge much more happily than my T4 W2 vamp. Still it is weaker (IIRC) and has a lower I and WS so it wont be striking so quickly or successfully. Still W3
Plus as its cheaper I can field a necromancer as well and keep my undead around for a little longer.
I will have to take a trip to system 2 at work to see those piccies
Roll on 7pm!

Re: Waaagh Badgutz (Les' Gobbos)
So after the thumping thatBadgutz and his ladz took at the hand of some chaos warriors I'm taking stock.. the 1k list may be very different from the 750 list! 2 units of chaos warriors smashed my army to pieces!

Re: Waaagh Badgutz (Les' Gobbos)
Damn you and your cheap ass lord
That tooled up gobbo is still 40 points cheaper than my cheapest Lord without any items or options.
I will be ready for your little green things Les, my undead are getting a cheaper Hero facelift and a much more efficient core fighting unit. I am also tempted to throw in some terrifying wraiths as well.
I see you have decided to keep Uvvawun with the great weapon for the time being.

Re: Waaagh Badgutz (Les' Gobbos)
I'll have you know that's my lord maxed out, thank you very much! (However a fully kitted up black orc would cost 445 points (on a Wyvern) )
