Les,

Sure..I'd love to get a game of 7tv at some point. I have the PDF of the original rules rules which I bought the last time I was looking at this ( July 2011 according to the receipt ).

I am struggling to get down to the club on Tuesdays at the moment, due to work, but hopefully May will be a little more predictable on that front.

Rab.

Been a while since I shared my thoughts on our wonderful hobby. Running demos at the Bastion's open day yesterday got me thinking about where I am and what I want to do now. I think I'm good for rules sets and the next 12 months will all be about consolidation, I have plenty of toys to paint and I now have a pretty good terrain set up allowing me to play more games at home as well as down the club. A few Kickstarters to arrive to give a bit more variety but most are boardgames so I'll not go on about them much. For the next 12 months I've got the following to achieve:

Run the 7tv campaign (more to follow tomorrow in the relevant thread)
Paint all my 7tv toys, difficult as I'm always adding more. After getting the contemporary ones done it'll be voyage then zombies
Paint the ECW toys any get playing, whether its me painting or I commission someone. Really want to get going on this.
Relics, I've got the toys, orcnar are pretty much done, just the britanans to do then I'll be wanting to play
Time permitting (because the above is a LOT!) I want to finish the bolt action Belgians as well

The only large purchase looming on the horizon is an airbrush, need to save up though. Its going to help getting large areas/groups of figures done.

Lots of stuff there indeed.
When you get down to the airbrush aspect, let me know if you need any help/advice. Know a few places to get some decent kit for that, that will last a fair while as well.

And am curious as to the ECW army.. and which ruleset you are using for this.

Ruleset? So far all the games down the club (Kelson and Paul) have been Pike and Shotte, however I also have Warhammer ECW (4th edition Warhammer without magic) and Ospreys ruleset (advanced DBA, looks lovely, reads like a train wreck).

Revisiting the musings. Got very little of the last 12 months wish list done for all kinds of reasons. However I did get the orcnar finished and made a start on the Britanans. In addition to this I also got my 7tv ghostbusters done, finished my Argonauts cast and the Belgian bolt action army is just about complete... And I purchased an airbrush :)
So, the next twelve months, personal life is going to be very busy so I might be toning down hobby time a bit. More consolidating, my lead/plastic/resin mountain is huge so that shall be addressed.

1. Finish my Britanans, only 15 models to go so should be easy
2. Finish my early war German forces, going to try and use the airbrush heavily on these as a learning experience
3. Get more 7tv toys finished, 10 more and the beat cast is done.
4. More work on the ECW toys
5. After sorting the hobby room yesterday I found all my freebooter fate stuff. Get this painted and played.
6. Play more games :)

Ooo freebooter fate!! I have the rules for that, and it looks interesting. Need a band to play it though, but that shouldn't be too hard to muster up.

And let me know if you need any help with AB ;)
