My Auster AOP just arrived, pretty much completing my LW Brits.

I can do anything up to 2240 (Using a rifle company) or a little less with my Tank Squadron.

Once RR is out of the way, FoW is where I'll be shifting my focus.

Right, RR is gone, Xmas is coming, and I've filled my gaming calendar for the rest of the year. I only suqeezed in one FoW game :(

I want to play more in the New Year. To allow those of us who paint slowly to get some toys done, how about a 600 point monthly campaign for 2012? Nothing big, no scenarios to worry about other than those in the rulebook. You only need a single combat platoon for smaller games too. Just an excuse to get the historicals out a little more often and, with smaller games, we should get them done in the night, soemthing us noobs struggle with.

These pages on the BF site got me insired http://www.flamesofwar.com/hobby.aspx?art_id=801.

Should get us ready for the rumoured v3 later in 2012.

That's one of the thing I'm going to be discussing with the rest of the committee in a fortnight, but no reason it can't start in January.
Which week of the month will 7tv run, so I can make sure we don't clash?

Hi All,

Have you ever wanted to play Flames of War but didn't want to commit to buying the miniatures without knowing if you (or your friends) would enjoy it?

Then this is your chance as Bracknell forest Gamer's are running an introduction to Flames of War on 08/03 at Promethean Games (Moss-end Garden Centre, Bracknell) using the "Open Fire" box set plus some extras.

Look for us on Facebook for more details and to register your interest - Hope to see you there!

Apologies if this isn't the right place to post this

Unfortunately FoW has pretty much died off at Muppets. Bolt Action gets all the ww2 love now.
Shame, I loved it, even got round to painting toys for it. Considering giving them a new lease of life in fist full of tows.
