Flames of War players, make yourselves known here

Post by poi » Thu Sep 08, 2011 10:24 am

Connor (Sovietspace) popped down this week. He's a FoW player, so I thought it might be worth listing those who play.

Duncan S (Squig Hopper)
Paul (Pauly J - Grimnor)
Roger (poi)
Martin B (porrter)
Martin E (Rendorin)
Connor (sovietspace)
Les (Chilledenuff)

That's all that spring immediately to mind. Anyone else?

Is it worth having this kind of thread for other games? No point worrying about 40k and WFB, but having stickied player lists for games like Malifaux, WarHordes? Just to help those either looking for games (they could pm people directly) or potential campaign organisers.

We could even have usergroups, so that players could pm everyone in a group at the same time?

club within a club?

Post by Rab » Thu Sep 08, 2011 10:48 pm

Is there a danger that club starts to fragment if players rely on PMs to arrange games and communicate?

Not against a register of players of specific games...but the reason I joined this club was to enable me to expand my gaming circle and perhaps interest in other non GW games, if the existent players of other games simply communicate in a private group then surely there is the risk that other gamers will not be attracted to the game ( largely due to a lack of awareness? )

...just a thought, as a newbie to the club.
